Hello, I am Ellie.
I believe every student can succeed when they're taught in a way that works for them.

For me, tutoring is about much more than improving grades. I believe every student deserves to feel confident in their abilities and to enjoy learning. By tailoring each lesson to the individual, I help students overcome challenges, build lasting confidence, and achieve their academic or personal goals.

My journey began at Winchester University where I graduated with a first-class degree in Primary Education with QTS. I have since worked in mainstream and SEN primary schools across the South-East. During my time as a teacher, I created, from scratch, a primary curriculum suited to the children’s learning styles and needs.
I began tutoring alongside teaching in my second year as a teacher, since then I have tutored children from Year 1 to secondary, including the 11 plus. I have created bespoke curriculum tasks for home educated children and I now tutor full time. I have a passion for supporting children to reach their personal goals and enjoy their learning. I have discovered the power of connecting learning to the interests of the children making it effective and fun.
Every child learns differently, so I take the time to get to know each student—their interests, strengths, learning style, and what motivates them. I tailor every session to suit their individual needs, adapting my approach as they grow in confidence or if something isn't working. I also support children in developing self-regulation skills, using practical, engaging activities that match the way they learn best.

Each programme is carefully planned around personalised learning objectives, developed through ongoing communication with parents. By working together, we can focus on the areas where their child needs the most support while building confidence, independence, and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
